So Nick sent us a picture of his map that had a route on it going from the Bay Area to Yosemite, to Bridgeport, then back home through Sonora Pass. I wasnt originally planning on doing this trip because of responsibilities, but last minute I said to myself "you know what, this will be the last long trip of the year to the mountains before it starts to snow and get real cold" so the night before I packed up my Ironhead and headed out to Nicks house. Ive been trying to do the trips this year as minimally as possible, so I grabbed just my sleeping bag, a sleeping pad, a t-shirt, pair of boxers and a couple pairs of socks, my film camera, and a handful of tools. Very happy I went, outside of the break downs and potentially blowing up my 68 Ironhead trying to keep up with the new bikes haha. Time for a rebuild! Very stoked i got to ride with Axel, Dre, Lucas, Steven, Kendra, Riley, and Nick. Thank you dudes and dudet for waiting around for me while I fixed my tire haha.
